Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Grand Neo in India and has priced the device at Rs 18,450. It is currently available on Snapdeal for Rs 18,679. The device is likely to be available in major stores soon. The Galaxy Grand Neo is a successor model of the Galaxy Grand launched last year, this year the company also launched Galaxy Grand 2 which is a high model in the Grand series.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will be placed between Galaxy Grand and Galaxy Grand 2 as it comes with minor upgrades over older Grand and is kept little lower below the Grand 2. As for the specs, the Galaxy Grand neo comes with the same 5-inch WVGA display like the older Galaxy Grand and has a more powerful 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM.

It comes with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has Dual SIM feature on board. The camera department on this device is little low end with a 5MP rear snapper and VGA resolution front facing camera. On the connectivity front this smartphone has 3G, Edge and GPRS (2G Network) along with WiFi and Bluetooth. This device will contend against some mid range Micromax Canvas phones and the recently launched Canvas Bolt A068 smartphone.
