It’s not HTC One 2 or M8, it’s the All New One

HTC One aka M8 has been rumored long now, everyone thought that HTC would stick its naming strategy and wont give a new name to the device. But it turns out today that the successor model of the HTC One will be called the All New One. The name sounds a little ridiculous and weird. This may impact the sales of the phone, nobody would want to own a phone that has a weird name.

The initial reports and leaks suggested that the device will called HTC One + or HTC One 2, the company has taken a comically hilarious decision by naming it the All New One. May be HTC is inspired from Apple’s experiments. Apple decided to call its third generation iPad the New iPad, again that was stupid to name a device like that. But Apple has a very strong base of loyal customers and it can afford to do such experiments, HTC does not have that privilege, there is a tremendous competition in the market and a move like this will affect the sales.

Well it’s a product from HTC and they have the sole right to name it whatever they please to, we can only give them suggestions on naming front.
