Apple iPhone 5c price in India drops to Rs 36,999

Apple launched the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in India in November last year. iPhone 5s was clearly a high end and premium smartphone with top notch hardware and features, whereas iPhone 5c was set as a cheaper variant to the iPhone 5s.

During the launch the iPhone 5s was priced at Rs 53,500 and iPhone 5c was priced at Rs 41,900. The premium iPhone 5s continues to sell at the same price but iPhone 5c has faced a price cut, may be due to poor sales. Right now the iPhone 5c is available for Rs 36,999.

The iPhone 5c comes with a 4-inch multi touch capacitive display, it is powered by a Dual-Core Apple A6 processor. It runs on iOS 7 and houses an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front facing camera. It is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB memory variants with 1GB RAM. Overall the device’s hardware is very much similar to iPhone 5. And with a price drop we can expect some boost in the sales of this device.
